San Francisco has not built enough housing to keep up with population growth. This leads to higher housing prices, forcing people who don't work in tech to move out of the city. This hurts everyone, as the city is now less interesting. Agree other cities should learn from this.
We’ll take a short loop Downtown before heading to Lincoln Park and across the Hackensack River bridge to roll through South Kearny. Then back into Lincoln Park and return Downtown. Optional theme: wear orange or black for the 🎃🧙♀️ Fall/Halloween season!

OK but the plan isn't just to replace the Kennedy Center with a better building. Trump wants to turn it into a shrine to himself.
Destruction of the Kennedy Center is the kind of obvious good idea people oppose only because of Donald Trump's involvement. It is one of the most hideous and Soviet structures in the city, a building of ghastly, inhuman proportions and a place with astoundingly little significance to the country's cultural life. Have any major productions originated there? Can you think of a single important live recording that's been made in that building that's not a Kennedy Center Honors ceremony? It is not "America's mainstage;" this country has yet to devolve into a backwater where the national capitol and the cultural capital are oh so conveniently in the same place
The National Symphony Orchestra is wonderful, but it's maybe the 4th-6th best in America and has numerous other potential venues in the DC area (Constitution Hall, Strathmore etc). Same goes for the Washington National Opera, which had a brief period of global relevance 20 years ago and has since been an institution in long decline. The Kennedy Center's core tenants can survive without the giant kleenex box...

"It's not a gun problem, it's a mental health problem. Anyways we're getting rid of mental health, GOOD LUCK!"
🚨 Trump canceled $1 billion for school mental-health staff meant to prevent school shootings.
AOC: And for anyone who says that’s unrealistic… this is literally what baby boomers gave themselves. Public colleges in America were tuition-free. You know when they started to get defunded? They got defunded when they started to get integrated.

El auto particular es el transporte terrestre de pasajeros más ineficiente que existe, tanto en uso del espacio público como en consumo de energía por persona.
Más del 95% de la energía del combustible se gasta en mover el propio vehículo, no al pasajero.

And here is the goofy lever I imagine the governors of NY and NJ will pull together in a show of unity and friendship and always getting along!
I’m at the @GatewayProgNews Tonnelle Ave construction site for the unveiling of the first of two tunnel boring machines.
An incredible piece of machinery that will chip away through the volcanic Palisades rock of NJ. Story TK
Same, some days amirite?
