ICYMI yesterday - Emma Mills MG graphic novel series!! These are SO charming, just full-on group banter at all times, with so much heart underneath, I'm so excited for a whole new age group to find her work. (And the illustrations!! Still in progress but they'll be SO cute.)

Hello #TweetBookCon authors! Can you use a gif or emojis to describe your book? @TeenBookCon @BlueWillowBooks
I just finished a re-read of MR. PENUMBRA'S 24-HOUR BOOKSTORE (a comfort read of mine)! I love love LOVE books about bookstores. WORDS IN DEEP BLUE is another fave. I also have HOW TO FIND LOVE IN A BOOK SHOP which has been on my TBR for a while! #TweetBookCon

For me, it wasn't a "before", but a "during"-- I published while I was in grad school studying cell biology. So it was lab research by day, and writing by night (and late night, and early morning!)😄 #TweetBookCon

I wrote LUCKY CALLER over about 8 months, but in true Procrastination-style, I spent 6 months on 30% of the book and the final 2 months on the other 70%! #TweetBookCon

LUCKY CALLER is my fifth book, and I have to say: yes, absolutely, every single time, without a doubt! 😆
When releasing new books, do you get anxious about how well your book is going to do? #TweetBookCon
Now that I'm finished with school, I can keep a more consistent writing schedule, but when I was still doing my grad work I often got ideas while driving to/from the lab and would park and write them down on my phone before I forgot everything 😆 #TweetBookCon
Do you have spurts of productivity at random times? Do you find yourself fueled by coffee and willpower at 3:00am furthering plot and character development? Same lol. #TweetBookCon
I think Nina from LUCKY CALLER would be at loose ends... however, Claudia from FOOLISH HEARTS would playing Battle Quest non-stop (and roping Gideon and Iris into it too!) #TweetBookCon
