Protecting our environment shouldn’t be controversial. This is something both sides of the aisle must come together on. We all know that the climate is changing, and that it’s time to seek innovative and clean energy solutions to lower emissions.

Congress must pass a clean energy package as soon as possible not only to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions, but our reliance on foreign oil and gas as well. Any opposition to doing so is now simply a commitment to relying on tyrants like Putin for decades to come.
