This is actually dishonoring to Dolly. She was famously non-political. And she insisted on it stridently. She refused honors from both President Trump and President Biden because she was concerned that it would be viewed as an endorsement of their respective administrations. When she said in 2016 that a woman would make a good president and the New York Times ran that as an endorsement of Hillary Clinton, Dolly immediately corrected the record and said she was not endorsing either candidate. Later in that cycle, she joked “ I think they’re both nuts.” She also famously told Fox and Friends in 2017, “Everybody knows I don't do politics because my mother was a Democrat, my daddy was a Republican, so I'm a hypocrat... I've got as many Republican fans as Democrats, and I don't want to make any of them mad at me, so I don't play politics." This was a consistent stance she took throughout her career. And she was extremely deliberate about it. So what you’re doing here and claiming her work for communist ideology is dishonoring to her and her express wishes. You should be ashamed.
