A rant on the shiniest object "The Basis trade of doom" in my blog post in comments. Everything people are telling you about the basis trade is wrong.
Some really cool slides from ICONIQ makes you think on how truly great these companies will be if all of it is sustainable
The Great Sorting has begun.
A new class of software companies identified from our dataset, which we call Pacesetters, is compressing years of growth into a fraction of the time. They’re spending more, growing faster, and generating more for it.
Earlier this year, we explored this shift in “A Coming Age of Reason.” Our latest report puts the data behind that thesis.

Really love Colossus, but feel their best pieces are sometimes on more unknown individuals. Maybe this one suffers from the dictator dilemma they describe as I thought it would have better insights and unexplored themes. Awesome write up yet nothing new?

This is a story about the head of history's largest nonterritorial empire, who nonetheless remains a prisoner of his rivals. Has he finally found a way out?
The profile has been nearly a year in the making. Stern interviewed three dozen people, including Zuckerberg, his MMA coach, and his critics and competitors at the frontier AI labs. He spoke with his parents, Karen and Ed, and watched their son get punched in the face.
The story spans Meta HQ in Menlo Park, the Zuckerbergs' homes in Palo Alto and Lake Tahoe, and a party in a Manhattan warehouse with Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet. There is also a sneak peek of Aaron Sorkin's forthcoming sequel about Zuckerberg, sourced via a Hollywood fixer Stern first encountered in Russia.
The result is a profile unlike one you've read before.

With Addepar MCP, a new connector in Claude, Addepar clients can ask Claude complex portfolio questions in plain language and get answers grounded in our governed, total portfolio intelligence.
Ask about performance. Explore exposures. Understand capital calls and liquidity. Get answers grounded in the same portfolio context you rely on in Addepar. It’s another step toward making trusted portfolio intelligence available wherever the work happens.

Can you design a portfolio that is behind January through September but in the fourth quarter kicks the hell out of everyone?

Always enjoy these Blockchange quaterly updates. Their consumer comment seems on point, but still feels bittersweet that all we managed to move from a consumer perspective was the finance side. There used to be so much excitement for other aspects, which have mostly disappeared.
