Yall dont understand that the way things played out in avatar was delicately crafted bc there is almost no way to take down a ruler like Ozai without him becoming a martyr and the fire nation falling into revolt. Literally any avatar thats not Aang wouldve failed to bring peace.

Korra would have loved to kick down Ozai's door and kick his ass day one while Aang would have been able to successfully politically avert Amon, Unalaq, Zaheer, and Kuvira agendas. The point is that the two avatars belonged into two different ages
