Well, then it’s decided. We’re getting divorced. It sucks, and it’ll be tough. But I’d lie if I didn’t confess that it comes as a relief after 4 months of trying to make it work and being at my absolute darkest, resorting to pure self-destruction. My time to thrive has come.

Just updated and fixed a whole bunch of recently discovered bugs in two of my most popular apps. They’ve now reached 8.3K and 4.4K lifetime downloads, respectively! 🎉

Tomorrow I’ll be tearing apart a Samsung phone to change the battery. I used to service iPhones as well, but that went away with the iPhone X since Apple made it more or less impossible due to software restrictions. Wish me luck! 🤓

My brain is utterly screwed up at the moment, and has been since the beginning of June. I’m constantly bouncing between the feeling of “everything is fine” and “my marriage is over” on a regular basis. How do people cope with this? I am sick and tired of it, and it breaks me.

I love when users report bugs in my apps so I don’t just sit here and make apps in a vacuum without any user interaction at all. I mean, I’ve made the majority of my apps with myself being the intended user. But I like when others find my apps useful. #iosdev

I discovered some intermittent strange behavior in the latest update that turned out to be due to the API returning a “Too many requests”-response. The app now informs the user of this instead of just being weird. #iosdev

Finally finished refactoring my Level explorer for Super Mario Maker 2 app. It took me way more hours than I’d like to admit, but I got to refresh my iOS development skills in a way that felt really productive. I’m not back at my peak yet, but I’m getting there. #iOSdev

I regret upgrading to iOS 26.5 because now my battery drains much faster than on iOS 26.4 😅 Hopefully they’ll release a new dev beta real soon…

I’ve had an idea for an app for a while now. Haven’t been able to solve the problem and get it to work yet. Recently I read up on CoreML and I think that’s the next thing I’ll explore. Either just for fun or as a viable solution for my app. #iosdev
