The moment ranking obsession is removed, board exams ask fair, updated, and relevant questions, and all schools teach for practicality and excellence over board ratings and metrics, then I'm good with just staying in the academe. However, it's currently far from reality

agree lowkey… like gets ko naman why we celebrate topnotchers but i do think board exam culture has gotten so centered on rankings and ratings 🥲 and it’s easy to lose sight of what the exam is actually meant to assess when the goal becomes getting the highest score possible
