I can't stop thinking about the tragic events unfolding in Minnesota, and even though I'm French, I can't remain silent. What's happening is beyond comprehension. As a Holocaust Survivor, Israel’s genocide in Gaza is not done in my name.
I see echoes of the Holocaust in Gaza today:
Dehumanisation, humiliation, large-scale killings, destruction of families and the determination in which they are destroying the whole of Gaza is very similar to the cruelty of the fascist regimes.
What happened to the Jewish people, the industrial scale of extermination and invisible emotional pain, is so horrendous that it should never be repeated anywhere in the world.
That is why we say not in our name and Never Again.
Fascism thrives on indifference and the general public being intimidated or looking the other way due to self-preservation.
Don’t look the other way.
Be brave, and on the right side of history.
