Tempest's container is pretty neat. It'll throw exceptions that are actually useful to developers when something can't be autowired or when it encounters a circular dependency

In 2024, is it feasible to write a #dotnet app that just talks directly to an on prem SQL Server database? People were doing this decades ago, but I thought we were done with that. Everything is n-tier by now right? Or do you use RLS security at the db level?
