Every Sunday, write down everything you "have to" do this week.
Circle the 3 that actually move the needle. Hand off or drop the rest.
That one habit gave me my weekends back.
Try it this Sunday.
"5 Videos in 5 Days."
Not to go viral β to prove to yourself the freeze doesn't get the final say.
One topic. One take each. Five days.
By day five, recording feels different. That's the whole point.
Scared to post the video?
Post it to "close friends" first. Watch the world not end.
Then post it for real tomorrow.
You're not avoiding the fear. You're shrinking it.
When it's time to film, which are you:
π
°οΈ record 10 takes, keep none
π
±οΈ one take, post it, never look back
Neither's wrong β but π
±οΈ posts 10x more. Move one notch toward B this week. π
Been "meaning to start" posting videos for months?
Pick your start date. Tell one person. Film the first one that day β badly.
Month one is supposed to be rough.
That's the reps. Not the failure.
The 3-second rule for video hooks:
Say the most useful or surprising thing FIRST. Not your intro. Not your name.
People decide to stay in about 3 seconds.
Spend them on the viewer, not on you.
Your first line on camera is scaring people off.
Cut it. Start on the second sentence β the one with the actual point.
"Hey guys, so today I wanted to talk aboutβ¦" β gone.
Lead with the value.
Do less. Not more. And get your time back.
The goal was never to hustle harder.
It was to build a life
that doesn't need you at 11pm.
How to film a week of content in one sitting:
Pick ONE topic you know cold. Record 5 short takes β one answer per take.
That's your week. Done in 30 minutes.
What's one topic you could talk about for an hour? π
You've been "about to start" filming for six months.
The camera's charged. The idea's there.
And still⦠tomorrow.
Again.
You becoming more yourself β
louder, clearer, braver on camera β
is the whole strategy.
Everything else is just delivery.
"I need a better camera first."
The phone in your pocket filmed half the creators you follow.
Do this instead: film one video today, on the phone you have.
The gear was never the thing stopping you.
Forty browser tabs.
Three half-written captions.
A voice memo you swear you'll get to.
Your brain has quietly become the world's worst filing cabinet.
The most magnetic version of you already exists.
Your friends see her every day.
The camera is just the next room
she walks into.
Rewatching your video and cringing?
New rule: you get ONE watch β to check sound and light. Then it posts.
Cringe is just the gap between how it felt and how it looked.
Reps close it. Re-dos don't.
Every Sunday night, same thought:
"I have to post again this week and I've got nothing."
That knot in your stomach is real.
And it shows up right on schedule.
One day someone watches your video and messages you:
"this is exactly what I needed today."
That one message is worth every awkward first take.
Keep going.
One day someone watches your video and messages you:
"this is exactly what I needed today."
That one message is worth every awkward first take.
Keep going.
Freeze the second you hit record?
Before you press it: breathe out slow β longer than you breathe in β three times. Feel your feet on the floor.
It tells your body the camera is safe.
Then talk.
