We're already sanctioning Iran. They're not committing genocide.
Israel is committing genocide. We give special trading status and we (the EU) would be able to stop genocide through peaceful means. We arm them and give them political cover instead.

The Irish Times says this woman lives in: “Kibbutz Lavi, set up in 1949”.
It wasn’t “set up”.
It was built on the ruins of the Palestinian town of Lubya whose 2,350 residents were ethnically cleansed and whose town was destroyed by Israel a few months previous.

I believe I should have a home. So I'm taking yours. You can live in the garage.
Oh, and if you resist I'll kill you and your entire family.

LET'S NOT LOSE SIGHT OF JUSTICE AS OUR COMPASS.
Attacking a sovereign country and
abducting its leader is a lethal blow to intl law, no matter how deserving s/he may be to face justice.
That applies also to Netanyahu: I look forward to his lawful arrest and trial in The Hague.

No foreign journalists, no UN personnel, no aid agencies.
No one to bear witness.

Gaza has not been "a mess" for centuries. Gaza City was a prosperous Mediterranean port with extensive trade connections until 1948, when Israel shunted 250,000 Palestinians into the narrow strip of land we now call the Gaza Strip and imposed new military borders, cutting Gaza off from its trade routes and much of its agricultural land, and rendering all those who lived there, both refugees and residents, destitute.

Netanyahu dropped bombs that shredded Palestinian children - and got a standing ovation in Congress for it.
