This is incitement to insurrection, please deplatform Rep Raskin, democracy is at stake. It's not a free speech issue, it's a hate speech issue. We can not allow for incitement like this. Am I doing this right? xitter.cf/kerpen/status/13493598…

Are all white people bad? No. Are all black people good? No. Knowing this reality- I stand on my decision to unite with good people, no matter the race, creed or ideology. Given the number of threats against this decision- I also decide to die on this hill.

When someone preambles their insistence with 'science based' or 'science communication' or 'we rely on science' or 'I friggin' love science'... ...they are NOT to be trusted at all. Watch their deeds like the spider, pay no heed to their words.

Last night four cops were shot in St. Louis, one was shot in Las Vegas, two were driven over in Buffalo, & one was driven over in New York City. I’m sure there are more. Media rhetoric about a tiny minority of bad officers has created a national war on all police. Has to stop.

Btw: the link between not just lockdowns but overall #COVID hysteria and the riots should be obvious. People are bored, frustrated, unemployed, out of school, stuck at home, worried about their futures. But something else: the hysteria feeds a doomsday anything-goes mentality.

I have never been more angry with my government. There are bread lines in my neighborhood. Countless small business are destroyed. Cancer has gone undiagnosed. But progressive protests magically ended the lockdown. It’s infuriating.

JUST IN: @ABC looked at 21 states that eased restrictions May 4 or earlier & found no major increase in hospitalizations, deaths or % of people testing positive in any of them. [SC, MT, GA, MS, SD, AR, CO, ID, IA, ND, OK, TN, TX, UT, WY, KS, FL, IN, MO, NE, OH] via @AMitrops

With our 1353 fatality day, we still maintain a downward slope of 3.5% fatality drop per day, along with a flattened drop in hospitalizations at around 3.3% drop per day. Despite a few pocket anecdotal stories, we are needing to consider our exit strategy for this virus.

Keep in mind the mayor of this city is lecturing people to be safe, shaming those who don’t wear a mask. @marty_walsh is such a phony. The worst.

NYT coming clean about fake COVID-19 reporting. This retraction was only made because other journalists uncovered the lie and hounded the NYT about it.

“This is my big worry,” said a former Obama White House official who’s still close to the former president. So your “big worry” is a great American economic recovery? That’s the kind of people coming back to power under a Biden presidency. Enough said. politico.com/news/2020/05/26…

Universal lockdown is *directly* responsible for a large number of deaths which we are just beginning to calculate This was entirely predictable- but it felt too virtuous for some people to yell “you want grandma to die for your 401K!,” so they didn’t pay attention to warnings

As one might observe, our lowest fatality count since March 30th. On March 30th we also did not catch all fatalities then, so we are solidly inside the tail of this pandemic. We must remember that 100+ people per day die of pneum & flu even in the off season.

Hospitalizations continues on its 3.1% drop per day. Fatalities had its lowest single day arrival since Mar 30th. If someone publishes a 'new daily cases' chart, and does not temper it by testing rate and/or hospitalization - they are a babbling idiot.

We notice that of the 21 juking states, most are headed towards either hot-spot-only or tests=cases. Which is fine. But these states need to be filtered out of the pandemic info, b/c they are not helping their fellow citizens. 7.5% more tests, 1% fewer cases than last Sunday.

New York City is allowing you to hang out on the beaches, but not swim. California is allowing you to swim, but not hang out on the beaches. Both claim science is guiding their policies. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Going over MA COVID data. For >70 age, case fatality rate 25%. For those <50, case fatality rate about 0.2% (100 fold lower). For those <40 = 0.08%. Stark age effect suggests weakness of focus on average Population CFR’s (or IFR) for COVID policy generation. Age highly relevant.

Astonishing @cdcgov report: the best CDC estimate for the death rate for #sarscov2 is ~1 in 400 infections, or ~ 1 in 3,000 for people under 50. The figures are here: a 0.4% death rate for symptomatic cases, but 35% of infections cause no symptoms at all. cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nco…
