We loved this little video with Andrew Garfield and Elmo.
Although it can be sad, it’s also good to think of those who have died, and the special memories we have, as it can help us feel comforted, knowing how much we loved them.
These moments will stay with us forever 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Pls share this with someone who may be struggling today, thankyou

Ugh, it may be time for me to consider varifocals, as she types while peering over her glasses to see the too small writing up close 😬

I have a mental image that keeps on giving 😅

You’re welcome! I’m now a consultant anaesthetist and retrospectively glad of the time off! Lots of luck to them ☺️

I got straight As and no offers 20+ years ago. I had a couple of phone calls for clearing places but took a year out, worked as an HCA, did an extra A level and Camp America. It doesn’t feel like it at the time but there’s no rush!

I completely empathise with this. It’s so hard to reach out so well done for doing that. Even the efforts of best-meaning friends can wane in time. Not their fault but I don’t think they realise quite how and how long grief can affect you. Keep reaching out, friends will be there.

There is no timeline for grief.
Please keep checking in with your bereaved friends and family 🧡

Is there such a thing as a catrovert?!

Just let trans people pee in peace and get the treatment they need in hospital without branding them as the biggest threat to humanity. Jesus Christ.

This is so true.
Please reach out to those grieving after the funeral. It can often be the loneliest time. 🧡
Nearly 3 years for me. The best analogy of grief I’ve heard is it’s like the butter in puff pastry. It’s always there but in thinner and thinner layers. Don’t think I did it justice somehow…

'Doctors already earn more than the average UK wage.'
Repeat after me:
It is not an average job
It is not an average job
It is not an average job
Have people completely lost sight of what being a doctor actually involves?!
