Building and shipping matter. But so does asking the right questions. And presenting the work with clarity. Balance. Consistency. Curiosity. Belief.

AI can generate. But it can't replace your point of view. Your experience shapes what you look for. Your curiosity asks the questions the prompt can't. Your eye catches what's off before anyone else sees it. Automation speeds up execution. But the designer decides what's worth executing. The tools get faster. The ideas still come from you.

Wild how designing "by hand" now feels like you're a stoic artisan, an OG relic caught in the futuristic present. Keep building.

Shipping an idea teaches you more about it than another week of revisions. The feedback loop is in the world. Put it out there.

"Design for the feeling." An Art Director told me that once. The motion. The timing. The whitespace. The copy. The color. The balance. It all gives a feeling. People may not be able to name it, but they feel it. The feeling is the product.
