There is now an alternative letter from colleagues of @nathancofnas at Ghent University. Their stated aim is "to respond to the negative and incorrect  framing of Ghent University’s decision to suspend Nathan Cofnas". The letter contains numerous useful links: - to Cofnas's articles, posts, and media appearances; to concerns about his hire, the university's official responses, and the relevant rules and regulations; to critiques of Cofnas's published work and "race realism" in general. This letter is also "free speech". And those who prepared and publicly shared it deserve our respect for their bravery. After all, it's not easy to take on the establishment (WSJ, the US government and pro-Israel lobbies).

🚨Sir Ian McKellen is quoting Thomas More, writing in 1517 during anti-immigrant riots in London 🔥 when terrified foreigners were dragged from their homes and blamed for every social ill. More asked the mob a simple question: “What would you do, if you were the stranger?” 500 years later, those same words cut straight through the noise. Because today we are again stirring hatred, again blaming the vulnerable, again pretending cruelty is “strength”. If the great humanists of the 16th century could see the danger… why can’t our politicians in 2025? History is speaking louder than ever. The only question is: are we listening?

Asylum seekers, housed in hotels in Manchester, are reaching out in their own words to address the concerns of the local community. Please take a minute to read their letter, & share it with the people in your life who need to hear the truth about the people they are protesting.

The BBC are constantly fawning over Farage's every move despite Reform only having four MPs. Our national broadcaster should reflect the whole country, not just one man’s ego.

I’ve done an awful lot of interviews in my 35 years as an academic and @neilmackay has been utterly meticulous with this, precise in questions and follow up. I wish I didn’t live in a time when my scholarship and voice were needed in this way. #AyeWelcomeRefugees @UofGlasgow

When a Telegraph journalist says this is the most right-wing government of his lifetime, it should make people stop and think. Tory MP @AndrewBowie_MP : “I do find some of the tone of the debate quite troubling”. #EmergencyAlert #England
