i think this is a poor read of “you can see everything” — it is not an attempt to re-litigate her culpability, or question our capacity to discern truth.
the questions are more about:
if we can ever truly penetrate another person’s self-conception, or what we even hope to get out of seeing “behind the veil”, or where delusion stops and deception begins — as @Max_Fisher excellently lays out here.
I enjoyed watching the movie but I apparently wrote what may be the only critical comment of "You Can See Everything” in America. ms.now/opinion/elizabeth-hol…

Some pretty insane details on Gillibrand here including:
– Her comms director bought up to 30k of bitcoin and ether one week before Gillibrand announced a bill putting both under friendlier CFTC oversight.
– Her chief of staff invoked the Senator's role as the DSCC’s top fundraiser while pushing other Dem aides to back her crypto-friendly legislation
-Her 22-year-old son raised $30M for a startup that is backed by crypto investors, including a key Gillibrand donor.
Gillibrand on staff trading crypto: “I could care less what they do with their money. This is not a nanny state.”
I asked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand if it bothers her that her staff trades crypto while she works on legislation that benefits the industry. “This is not a nanny state,” she said.

This is a rough September inflation report.
-Biggest monthly jump since May
-Higher than expected inflation AND core inflation
-Core Inflation for the past 3 months is running at well over a 3% annualized pace...that's problematic
-Inflation (3.7%) totally wiping out wage gains (3%)
Yes, high gas and diesel prices are the major driver, but also big jumps in airfares, used car prices, recreation, medical and apparel. The energy shock is spreading.

Senator Collins and her camp continue to misrepresent our reporting. And she did so again on the debate stage last night. My colleague @mtredden sets the record straight.

Sen. Collins faced Troy Jackson last night in their Maine Senate debate.
On stage, Collins inaccurately described ProPublica’s story about an FBI anticorruption investigation that probed the conduct of her & her staff until Trump’s DOJ shut it down. Let’s get into the facts…
1/ Mind blowing story about Trump accounts by @RichardRubinDC & @ashleaebeling. Under Treasury's new rules, a company can donate stock to a child's Trump account; parents can’t pick the stocks, reject donated shares, or sell for 5 years. Some possible implications...
