Hate speech in India keeps climbing, according to the India Hate Lab: • 2023: 668 events • 2024: 1,165 (up 74%) • 2025: 1,318 (almost double 2023) Around 9 in 10 of these happened in BJP-ruled states, led by UP, Maharashtra, MP and Uttarakhand. Another tracker, APCR and Quill Foundation, counted 947 hate incidents in just the first year of Modi 3.0. So if Hindu intellectuals, retired officers, ex-bureaucrats and academics really wanted to call this out, they'd need a 24x7 call centre just to keep up. And LOL.
Why dont Muslim intellectuals, retd servicemen or civil services officers, academicians, call out this Muslim Jamaat national chief, Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Rizvi barelvi, for issuing a fatwa against actress Sara Ali khan for praying at kedarnath. This is a secular country and any Hindu, christian, muslim or Sikh has the right to visit any church, temple, mosque or Gurudwara. No place of worship can deny, person of any faith to visit and if it's done its wrong and should be corrected. Maulana has asked Sara to ask for pardon. Muslim civil society should ask for maulana's apology. Who is he to ask for an apology from a worshipper. Thanks @DainikBhaskar for publishing the news.

.@RahulGandhi has been warning for years that democracy is under threat. Now even the BJP has taken out a “Save Democracy March,” inadvertently stamping its seal of approval on his claim. 😹

Indian left har ek aantu jhaantu ko appreciate karega par INC ko kabhi nahi, jabki sarkar banaane ke liye INC ka sahaara lena kabhi nahi chodega
Don't deny Neha Bora's courage clarity & command..but that she never talks of Rahul Gandhi, the one who gives her every stage & space..is odd as hell & hence u won't see me endorse her, not yet! P.s. yes her career doesn't depend on my support..but my support matters to me !😊

Today, I saw an independent journalist calling out CJP and AAP, accusing them of being compromised for skipping the Chalo Dilli rally. Ironically, this is someone who actively amplified CJP, and both benefited from each other. While CJP was being projected as the next big thing, a new league of revolutionaries was born, and some of these journalists and content creators saw their follower counts shoot up from 20K to 200K. Meanwhile, I still have around 23K followers on Instagram and have lost nearly 5K since I started questioning CJP from the very beginning. It does make me a little sad, but it has never stopped me from speaking my mind. Just saying, nobody is entirely innocent here. People have their own agendas. Journalism and content creation may be increasingly intertwined, but ethics and responsibility are what distinguish the two. And please, don’t do paid collaborations while presenting yourself as a journalist. If you do, at least disclose them. Your audience often consumes these collaborations as journalism, and that can be just as misleading and harmful as the very Godi media we criticise. #JustSaying

Koi legacy wagera nahi hai. naukri hi sirf karne ko legacy nahi kehte. Lakhon afsar apni Nakuri karke retire ho jaate hain, har ek naa legend hota hai naa uski legacy hoti hai.
ACM AP Singh has retired, leaving behind a legacy. He hands over the command to another IAF hero ACM Ashutosh Dixit. ACM AP Singh's leadership throughout his tenure, the heroics of Op Sindoor remain unforgettable for the nation, and of course for the adversary. Beyond that, the unmissable aura, the Say & Slay persona ,mincing no words, at the same time exuding warmth and humanity is what always would stay with me ! A true rockstar! Asked him one advice that you would give for life, he said 'Dil se karo jo karo' and he truly lives by it. Salute to you sir! Grateful for your service to the nation. And as loud as you like to hear - JAI HIND 🫡 🇮🇳#iaf #indianairforce #apsingh @IAF_MCC

History will remember that both AAP and CJP stayed away from today’s protest at Ramlila Maidan. Kejriwal is complicit, and CJP is part of the problem.

Matlab ab ye mohtarma bataengi basics of journalism. 👏👏👏👏 Your journalism is for all to see, nothing but crap. You cannot come clean on your past and present yellow Journalism by making a few “balanced” YouTube videos. Spare us the drivel.
Congress reportedly printed 1200 Media passes. Journalists who have basic sense of reporting such big rallies know that they would need such passes at the gate to enter. If someone pretending to be a journalist doesn’t even have this common sense of being atleast one of those 1200 people then I really doubt that person even qualifies as a journalist. I can understand the frustration of such people of not being let in while someone else with 21 years of experience as a journalist had a pass. Yes I had a pass because I went all the way to AICC one day before the event , sat there and waited for my pass to be handed over to me. So go learn basics of reporting and then blab here. Although I don’t need to give any explanations for other people’s childish behaviour but sometimes it’s good to expose them. Yes I could have also been let in if I didn’t have a pass. I have earned that experience. So go learn professionalism first before envying me. (First picture is of 31st Oct - AICC second of the pass that this frustrated soul couldn’t even bother to go get for himself) 😭

At this point Rahul bhai is just fixated at Parliament the building. Arre bhai, jab Parliament mein bolne ki azaadi hi nahi reh gai hai to dynamic kya bacha hai.
MPs fighting in Parliament, even in the most unparliamentary ways, make democracy more dynamic than this defeated morality of performative civility.

whenever there is a discussion on caste on this website, you can clearly see who learnt their politics from twitter/social media and who's actually touched some grass lol

If you are not RESISTING you are ASSISTING. There’s no other option. History will remember who resisted and who assisted. That’s how it works.

💯 💯. I don’t see any other reason. Controlled “neutral” opposition.
Did not get NOC from RSS.

Bad take
Sorry to say this, but this so-called Mock Parliament by the opposition increasingly looks like an exercise in political self-parody a kind of NGO-isation of politics, where the performance of resistance gradually replaces the practice of politics itself. There is a fundamental contradiction here. If your argument is that the ruling party has systematically denied you the space to speak in Parliament and if you are genuinely convinced that vote chori has undermined the democratic mandate then why reproduce Parliament as a theatrical prop outside Parliament? The problem with this kind of protest is that it risks becoming the very substitute for action that allows everyone to feel they have acted. You stage the appearance of resistance, perform the rituals of parliamentary democracy, issue familiar declarations and, in the process, turn political antagonism into a manageable spectacle. The protest becomes a performance whose very theatricality neutralises its political urgency. Opposition politics cannot become a permanent civil society seminar, endlessly producing statements, symbolic gestures and carefully choreographed dissent. The task is not simply to demonstrate that democracy is in crisis, but to confront that crisis on the actual terrain of political power. At some point, the opposition must move beyond the comfort of performing resistance and recover the capacity to exercise it. Politics is not about staging an alternative Parliament for an audience, it is about making power answerable in the Parliament that exists. Otherwise, the performance of resistance risks becoming the alibi for the absence of resistance itself.

So AAP, DMK, BJD are not participating at the protest at Ram Lila Maidan. Whatever their third front ambitions, this was the time to show a united front. Remember who they are.
