TIL that Scrabble has far the superior Nigel: Nigel Richards. Heโ€™s won world championships in languages he doesnโ€™t even speak (FR/ES), and apparently a Scrabble engine once needed two hours to figure out one of his moves. A pity he never hit into chess ๐Ÿ˜ฌ youtu.be/zfH2Jwuf3sM

@ninkibah @gmmds Iโ€™ve taken my ChatGPT recipe development one step further: a spelt shortcrust tart with tonka bean crรจme pรขtissiรจre, fresh local plums, and almond slivers with fleur de sel. Next iteration: tart with almond cream (frangipane)and pears, once theyโ€™re in season.

By the way, do I know anyone here who does genealogy research in the UK and might be able to point me towards the best resources? Thanks!

Countertenor superstar Jakub Orliล„ski's new album has been the soundtrack of my past weeks. Beautifully pared-back interpretations of music by Purcell and Hรคndel, accompanied only by piano. Very excited to have managed a last-minute ticket for their sold-out concert on Thursday!
