نخست‌وزیر کانادا اعلام کرد: ۱- قرار دادن کل رژیم جمهوری اسلامی از جمله سپاه در لیست ممنوعیت سفر/مهاجرت به کانادا. همه رهبری سپاه و پرسنل ارشد که گفت نزدیک ۱۰ هزار نفر هستند شامل این ممنوعیت می‌شوند. این قانون فقط دو بار، در جنگ بوسنی و رواندا، استفاده شده.
