Wonderful news! I had great fun writing the somewhat creepy soundtrack to The Corruption Within. It's great to see these games come to GOG.

Met @AnthonyParnther at the May Festival concert tonight! Such a nice guy (and a great concert!). I had to thank him in person for programming Trudging Grimly through the Snow with the SBSO last December. 😊

This year, for Christmas, I wrote a series of ten variations on O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, in the style of lesser-known composers that I think deserve more attention. Here's the playlist! youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…

On November 14, the BYU Singers performed my a cappella choral work, Lord of the Winds and the Water, which they had commissioned. They did an amazing job and even memorized the (very difficult) piece! 🤯 youtu.be/9e0cwUmC0z0

Hello, all! There are a number of upcoming concerts featuring my music in Utah, Texas, Colorado, London and Osaka (plus another one I'm not quite ready to announce yet). Here are the details. Let me know if you plan to attend one of them! youtube.com/shorts/8Coqt9zsZ…

Thought you all might be interested in an interview Ryan Leach conducted with me after I won his Fall 2024 composition competition! We went over tips for preparing for a scoring session, discussed the composition process, and then viewed the final result. youtu.be/h7aox-5HDJk

In November 2024, I won Ryan Leach's composition competition; the prize was a recording of my short piece Jungle Hunt with members of the Cape Town Philharmonic in South Africa via Cinemagic Scoring. They did an amazing job: here is the end result! youtu.be/nCrY50PMmL4

Yes indeed - if you play this game, in Captain Disaster tradition, you can hear not only my overly intrusive music, but also my dodgy accents and terrible attempts at acting! Wishlist it today!

I wrote some silly variations of Jingle Bells in the styles of 10 different composers, and for some reason they're going viral over on Instagram! Here's a YouTube playlist with all of them if you're interested. youtube.com/watch?v=Vvh-sWlg…

I just found out today that I won Ryan Leach's Fall 2024 Composition Competition, and my 90-second piece is going to be recorded by the Cape Town (South Africa) Philharmonic Orchestra! Here's my score video of the piece (with a MIDI mockup): youtu.be/r8yOEJZycgg

Careful what you ask for, America, you just might get it. #Election2024

This has got to be a bad joke. Isn't most EDM around 120-132bpm? The sextet I just finished writing is 188bpm. I guess I won't be getting any performances in Chechnya... cnn.com/2024/04/08/europe/ch…

So sad to hear of the death of Peter Schickele, aka P.D.Q. Bach. His early Concerto for Horn and Hardart and late String Quartet ("The Moose") are among my favorites. Rare was the piece (or introduction) that didn't make me laugh, even after I'd heard it 20 times!

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season! I wrote the following back in 2010 but recently dusted it off, made a nice condensed score, and made the choir actually sing words. I thought you might enjoy it! #Christmas #carol #classical #music youtube.com/watch?v=2I1kUcrb…

I posted a new score video this morning for "The Prison Ship," from the soundtrack to Captain Disaster and the Two Worlds of Riskara, an adventure game by @IndieGameNews1 and @lrzbn. Enjoy! youtu.be/qWAKN19vPHY
