bro to bro: we really shouldn’t have opinions on what goes on in women’s bodies, and we most certainly shouldn’t dictate what they can or cannot do with them, coz wtf
Ectopic pregnancy almost took my life! ….crazy part is that it wasn’t the regular ectopic pregnancy where the baby is in the fallopian tube . My baby was directly in my stomach and carried it for almost 12 weeks. I was stooling and throwing up for 2days but I didn’t understand till I passed out on the 3rd. I was rushed to the hospital and they said my PCV was 15% . After 2 pints of blood , it got up and 2 days later , it was 19% again. The mumu hospital people didn’t do scan or anything . I was just taking injections and drugs and I didn’t walk for 6 days. They eventually referred me to a hematologist in another hospital thinking it was a blood clotting problem or something. Getting there , the first thing they did was wheel me to a scan room ( I couldn’t stand or walk)… The lab guy couldn’t believe what he was seeing - Baby inside the stomach directly ke??? . Called the gynae immediately and that one too was shocked . The nurses said they had only read about abdominal ectopic but never saw it. They prepped me for surgery immediately and I heard the gynae telling the surgeon that there was a baby in my stomach and she was like “are you sure you guys saw it well?”. Lool . Apparently, the reason my blood levels kept dropping was because I’d been bleeding internally due to the baby in my stomach( we didn’t know this till the surgery was being carried out). If you see blood that came out from my stomach!!!!!! ….That I’m alive today is just God ooo! The nurses just kept telling me , “madam thank your God”. Pregnancy be like death sentence bruhhhh! Make nobody gaslight me!!!!!

Reminds me of when my cousin was earning 2k from this law firm moving from tema to Madina everyday last year and my mother told her to stop and come and sell tilapia. She's making thrice of this now. Chale dm if you want to buy tilapia in bulk.
The rate at which some Ghanaian girls are becoming comfortable with doing the bare minimum is actually crazy. Your mates are in the mining sector, law firms, big hospitals, IT, engineering and other serious fields, building careers for themselves. But you spend years in school, get the opportunity to build something solid, and suddenly it's "I have my own business." Wey business you dey do too aa, hair salon, ice kenkey, sobolo, thrift, Shein, Temu,Nail tech, selling wigs etc. And before you come for me, there's absolutely nothing wrong with any of these businesses. Making your own money is commendable. But why must it be the only thing you aspire to when you have the opportunity to build a professional career as well? Use the business as a side hustle. Grow it, invest in it, make money from it, but don't limit yourself. There's more to life than just surviving from one sale to another. Chale, raise your standards and aim higher. A time will come when some of the opportunities you're taking for granted today won't be available again yoo.

And i repeat look at this generation again? A generation that was being fed 5 times daily in uni, women give birth in hospitals for free and on top were given oil and rice but when it was time to take care of us too see how they have made this country so miserable for us
“You spent ¢8700 for just picking food at Aggrey Memorial, just 5 minutes walk from your school” ~ Public Accounts Committee Ghana National is just 5 minutes away from Aggrey but headmaster is saying he spends this amount to pick food eiii

lol, you people are funny. Men don’t rape because they “can’t get women.” Rape is a power move. The rapist enjoys the victim’s helplessness, vulnerability, and lack of consent. The point is domination the fact that they can take away someone’s choice, autonomy, and control.

It’s very clear Galamsey is not being treated as the emergency it is under Mahama’s leadership. Everyone thinks we’re making noise about a distant issue that doesn’t directly affect them.
Mercury in soil and water can last for hundreds of years. In mining communities, children are already showing up in hospitals with mercury in their bodies. Kids needing dialysis. Babies born with deformities. You can balance a budget but you cannot give a child their kidneys back. It doesn’t matter what else this government fixes. If galamsey continues, we are burying our future with our own hands.
