The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (#EAACI) has published guidelines for the diagnosis of IgE-mediated #foodallergy. It discusses the methods used to develop the guidelines (scope of guidelines, expert group and stakeholder involvement, systematic review of the evidence and formulation of recommendations, peer-review and public consultation), guideline recommendations (allergy-focused clinical history, diagnostic tests, and oral food challenges), and a discussion (summary, strengths/limitations, and future perspectives).

Very beautiful comparison by Kari Nadeau: genes are like musical notes. You can play them loudly, or softly, or rapidly, or slowly, or just stop. And this is epigenetics. #eaaci2022
