Woman of a certain rage. I want you to read more, think more, and use AI less. I read submissions for @MastersReview and pet every dog I can.

Well, I think they’ve rebranded “call grandma” to “call a mentor” so it sounds more life maxxing.

Had to stop using DDG as a search engine because that’s ALL it was giving me: AI recipe slop.

Fellow GenXers: they’ve discovered our lifestyle and repackaged it as “friction maxxing.”
I'm fascinated by the rise of frictionmaxxing as a response to a frictionless life. We engineer away inconvenience, only to discover that some of the friction we removed was part of what made life feel alive in the first place

Yes, everything has pros and cons. I wonder why people feel the need to dictate how others read?

Tried reading a story on Google News today. It was behind a paywall, so I went to the next. It was video only and I don’t have time for that. Third had Hyderabad for the byline and rambled for three screens without getting to the point. Fourth? Another paywall. WHAT IS EVEN THE POINT OF THE INTERNET ANYMORE?

I just want people to read. I don’t care if you read books on a Kindle, in paperback, or in hardback. Reading will take you out of your bubble, expose you to thoughts and situations you’ve never had, and make you ten million times more sexy. Ok, I may be exaggerating that last bit. It’s only nine million times but the point stands.
Not a fan of reading books on Kindle. Books were meant to be read in paper-form. Nothing beats the joy of running your fingers across real paper and turning the pages as you get lost in a book.

Your position on this is disgusting. Her mother has been proven a liar who stayed married to Amy’s rapist after the kids were removed from her custody. Done with your hate.

Ok, so who do YOU support? It one thing to point out every candidate’s flaws, and of course they all have them, but who do you promote?

Timeless. The ability to reach like that through the years and touch a reader from such a vastly different world? That’s a staggering talent.

Is that Tommy Teeple who worked for Josh Hawley? Can’t imagine what he’d be doing there.

This story from Peter DeMarco @PDMwriter is a wild ride! “Eddie came back. They said they weren’t in the mood to dance, he said. I don’t get it. They were looking at me. You were staring, I said. Maybe it was uncomfortable. I’m still in character, he said. Like a real fucking actor.” doric-literary.com/2026/10/0…

It’s a documentary. She went to jail. That was in the news. How is it a spoiler unless you don’t read the news?
I’ve been moving for the past week and couldn’t have gone to see the Holmes doc if I wanted to. I just muted two people I’ve loved and followed for 5 years for showering me with spoilers. That is suuuuccchh a nasty, immature thing to do. Doubt I’ll ever re-follow.
