The best method to "patch the holes" was to actually aim the swing. Those arrows in front of you character are your recticle, and if you actually used it properly instead of aiming above your target like most dynamos do, you would always hit them. The problem wasn't the hitboxes,

You had to know in and out to avoid missing (it’s kinda what created the “donut hitbox” term) good dynamos knew how to “patch the holes” in their kill zones to make it more consistent, it’s now done for you and it heavily punished people who relied on it malfunctioning
but instead we got this. I'm glad they tried to make the AOE/painting more consistent, cause it was pretty bad, but those buffs alongside the insane damage/kill-range buff just made it real stupid. Like, it's still good practice to aim your flicks to ensure you don't get screwed
It literally did? and they mentioned it in the patch notes? Like the ink doesn't travel farther, but it one shots from like 52 gal range now, and the damage is super consistant at 2 shotting for most of its flick (which is a giant ass wall of hitboxes)
Aight, I agree the weapon is balanced lame as hell rn...but it's always been able to do this and it's pretty situational to begin with.

Rainmaker is such a fucked mode. It's either stalling hell or cheese, no in between. Please delete this shit in Splatoon 4
