Jazzed to see over 90 EMS Chiefs/Supervisor/Medical Directors from across @STRAC EMS Committee. 55 trauma program directors upstairs, should have 140+ for Main Membership mtg at noon!
Incredible story at the STBT Hero’s in Arms celebration. Whole blood saved Doug Winckler after an MCC. Amazing loop of life that Dr. CJ Winckler, Doug’s son, has been instrumental in bringing WB to the @STRAC region.
Winter Storm has created difficulties for Blood Centers. PLEASE consider donating,, the life you save may be someone you know!

The Texas EMTF continues to support the response to historic flooding with 6 severe weather packages activated across the state.
Currently, 162 #TXEMTF personnel and 79 assets are deployed.

Excited to kick off NDMS Pilot Consortium in Bethesda. Dr. Woodson, Dr. Freeman, Dr. Ferrara, John Knox, Dr Smith and other senior DoD and Federal leaders along with all the pilot site PI’s, the ACS COT, JTS, and many others in attendance for 2 days to strengthen
our Nation’s
capability with Unity of Effort to handle Large Scale Combat Operations, while praying we never need it.

@AmericanAir super frustrating for the delay delays to DFW today, but understandable with the weather. What’s not understandable to be an admirals club member for over 10 years, and scan into the C club and D club but the E club people can’t figure it out as my flights have
continued to change and I’m chasing gates.
The E club front desk people need to be evaluated, I’m simply not sure how hard it is to figure out if someone is an admirals club member or not.

The last week has been pretty tough. I’m super proud of my STRAC family, we come together for each other every time.
Make sure to take care of yourself! Watch and take care of your partners at work, and at home.
EMS is incredibly rewarding profession but can take a toll.
Unpacking ‘the stuff’ is critical.
Deeply appreciate those that have served in the armed forces and protected us.
