Update: thanks for the help and support the last few days. Your messages got to the right people. The president of @porterairlines called Ken Harrower and apologized for the terrible treatment. They offered to pay for our flights/hotel and offered some compensation for Ken. 1/3 – at Toronto, Ontario

Thank you @porterairlines for making it right, but it’s something that never should have happened in the first place. We flew yesterday with no issues and are safely home. 2/3 – at Toronto, Ontario

The saga continues! @porterairlines canceled our morning flight and told us to come back this afternoon with no guarantee they’ll let @KenHarrower on with his powerchair as he’s dangerous goods. We’ve been up since 4:30am and are exhausted. Couldn’t make this up if we tried. – at Calgary International Airport Meridian Industrial Park, Calgary

Stuck in Calgary until tomorrow. @porterairlines won’t get us a hotel and now we have to hope they let us on the flight tomorrow. This is a terrible way to treat people.

Shame on you @porterairlines you won’t let us on the plane from Calgary with Ken’s power wheelchair despite checking repeatedly ahead of time and being told it was fine and FLYING here two weeks ago with the chair. This is inexcusable.

Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) to get an hourly raise of $1. Meanwhile, Doug Ford gave 43 of his MPPs a $16,600 raise not long ago. Once again, the Ontario government shows their disdain for female dominated professions. ECEs deserve better than a loonie. Who else agrees? ✋🏿

6 grants submitted in 24hrs, three of which were major operating applications. I think that’s my record. What the heck funders? Can we spread out the deadlines just a bit?

The text book is explicitly anticommunist and my closest friend in the class is a bitcoin-mining centre right liberal. Surely I will be given at least 2000 words to discuss the healthy climate of intellectual freedom within a the modern university.

I love that we’ve pretty much given up our phone system to criminals. I hardly answer calls anymore they’re all scams. And the phone scammers who keep harassing my grandmother are the lowest of the low. Don’t you dare impersonate me.
