What I truly enjoy is weekly Math PD - giving our teachers the tools to engage in Unit Unpacking: deconstructing standards, taking the assessment, aligning standards + ALDs, reviewing GMAS blueprints, model & practice of lessons, & planning for responsive math. BigKippster vibes

Fall Learning Summit was amazing - our teachers and leaders attended our Math Data Analysis, EM2 Lesson Rigor Components on CRA, and Using Scholar work to identify conceptual and procedural misconceptions.

Last week (5th-8th) and today (2nd grade) teachers engaged in Unit Unpacking for EM2 Module 1 Part 2 and Module 2! I’m elated to facilitate standards deconstruction, naming proficiency with assessments, lesson delivery, and modeling rigor of math instruction through CRA processes
