Last night, we came together for our annual Fall Festival!
Between the splashes at the dunk tank and the laughs (and whipped cream!) at pie-in-the-face, there was no shortage of fun! It was a night full of school spirit and memories that make this tradition so special.
Protecting Florida’s students, educators, and school communities is a shared mission.
Tim Hay, Executive Director of our Office of Safe Schools, reinforced that message this week in a conversation with education leaders on emerging school safety challenges—and how we can break down silos, strengthen collaboration, and work together to create safer learning environments.
We’ll continue providing the resources, tools, and support needed to keep our students and educators safe.

Super intelligence. Superhighways to success.
A $4 million investment awarded through @USDOE and ECMC Foundation is fueling the next chapter at @MDCollege: MDC ONE, our AI-driven intelligence platform designed to turn data into action, personalize the journey, and accelerate achievement.
The future of student success is personal. And we are building it.
Cybersecurity is national security—and we must be prepared by building a workforce equipped to protect our future.
Last month, we announced a partnership with @PolkState to launch a Cybersecurity Registered Apprenticeship program.
Apprentices in this program will train in computer forensics, system security, and ethical hacking while receiving PAID, on-the-job training.

Our gains in reading, math, and graduation rates don’t happen by accident—they happen because school leaders keep the focus on mastery, not motion.
