Here we go!!!
Today, I was invited to the OECD Headquarters in Paris, France to discuss how we can implement PISA in Nigeria. In 2027, Nigeria will experience its first-ever PISA assessment, and by 2029, we aim to participate in the global education rankings. PISA measures how well students in a country can apply what they have learned in school to solve real-world problems. It goes beyond memorisation and examines whether education is actually preparing young people to think, reason and function effectively in society. In the last ranking, some of the strongest performances came from education systems in East Asia, including China. Through initiatives like this, Nigeria can gradually build and strengthen its global reputation. Over time, we can improve how the world sees our education system, our institutions and the quality of our human capital. One thing I learned from my conversations today is that much of Africa is waiting for Nigeria to rise. Nigeria’s progress has the potential to accelerate development across the continent. Our ambition must be bigger than improving our rankings. We must build an education system capable of producing young people who can compete anywhere in the world. Within the next 10 years, Africa can become a major source of the global workforce and Nigeria must lead that transformation.

Today, the young engineers are learning how to interface the microcontroller with sensors and actuators. They are also learning how to step down voltage using a buck converter. Their teacher, Chizoba, made a First Class in Mechatronics Engineering with a CGPA of 4.96/5. The future of our children is looking promising.

Educare is committed to transforming lives through impactful educational interventions. Every child we reach is another step toward a brighter future. The future is built in classrooms, one child at a time.
There is so much talent going to waste in so many villages and low-income areas in the South East. We need to discover them, nurture them, and make them global stars.

In 2 days, the Sterling Bank National Mathematics Quiz will go live for all Nigerian students. Starting Saturday, June 20, 2026, students from Primary 1 to SS3 across Nigeria will compete online for the prizes. 1st Prize – ₦500,000 2nd Prize – ₦300,000 3rd Prize – ₦200,000 That’s ₦1,000,000 in every quiz dedicated solely to rewarding academic excellence among Nigerian children. But this is not just about winning money. It is about building a culture where intelligence is celebrated. It is about giving every child, whether in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Bayelsa, Maiduguri, Aba, or a remote village, an opportunity to compete on a national stage. Competition Schedule • Saturday • 6:00 PM – 6:20 PM • Online nationwide The top performers will then advance to a live championship session streamed online next day same time, where Nigerians can watch some of the country’s brightest students solve challenging mathematical problems in real time. To ensure fairness and give more students the opportunity to benefit, every student can only win once. And here’s what makes it even better: Every participant will be able to review their questions after the competition, identify their weaknesses, learn from their mistakes, and prepare for the next challenge. This means that even students who don’t win become better mathematicians. Parents, teachers, school owners, and students should begin preparing immediately. The questions will be tough and the competition will be fierce. Registration is now open: exams.educare.school/login/i… Please share this with every child, parent, teacher, school owner, principal, and education stakeholder you know. Let’s make academic excellence prestigious again.

We just shipped something on Educare that could change education forever. Our software now predicts a child’s learning outcomes with high precision including WAEC, JAMB, and IGCSE results while they’re still in SS2 or early SS3. How? We trained it on billions of data points from the school ecosystem we’ve gathered for the past 12 years: Termly performance. Attendance. Punctuality. Behavior. Homework completion. Lesson participation. Health. Class sitting plan. Everything. Now students can see their progress and their blind spots in real time. And schools can intervene before it’s too late. Data, used right, is the most powerful teacher we’ve ever had.

I have been studying results of this recent JAMB exam. All students that judiciously studied using exams.educare.school did amazingly well. In-short, the lowest score i have seen so far is 303. The students that participated in the National JAMB Readiness Assessment we organized online also did amazingly well. It really prepped them. Any child who doesn't utilize this tool effective is disadvantaged. I wish we had this opportunity in our own time.
