Educators are being pushed out of our professions because the conditions are unlivable. We are struggling to survive and provide for our families. If the district doesn't take action, more will be forced out. A living wage is the first step to an educator in every classroom.

As educators, we want to see all education workers compensated fairly. We want to see our schools and students thrive. But we can't do it while struggling to survive and feed our families. The district must use the $5.1 billion in reserves to pay educators a fair living wage.
