The first focus puller to make it as a director: “CUT!!! Going again for ACTING. Had some bad ACTING there. BAD ACTING THROUGHOUT THE TAKE. One more for ACTING please.”
Today's little background @OmarchyLinux agent project: "make me a plugin that works out how much it's costing to run the local LLM on my gaming PC back home"
My first Omarchy plugin… use your monitor as a nice fill light when on video calls. I used to just set a wallpaper to do this on Mac, this was so fun to see Claude cook up live. plugins.omarchy.org/plugin.h…

Incredibly sad news, John was a huge talent and a true gent.
Striking in this clip how after however many years of Tommy Schlamme steadicam oners from TWW, Brad Whitford noticeably times his dialogue to better fit when he's in frame than Matthew Perry (RIP!)
with all the memories you're inevitably going to hear about FRIENDS, it's also worth noting that Matthew Perry and @BradleyWhitford had one of the most underrated character duos of the last couple decades in STUDIO 60.
Just had the chance to listen and this such a great episode, Dave & Honey Chicken are the best in the business 🤓

I froze for a moment, confused, then started swimming. At some point I turned around to see that seaweed had returned, except it wasn't seaweed. They were garden eels.
Make me a horror film about garden eels this memory haunts me

People give sharks too much credit. Once I went solo diving in the Maldives. I jumped off the boat and looked down to see a huge amount of seaweed 90ft down.
I slowly let myself sink to the bottom and then look around. There was nothing, no seaweed just white sand all around.
Everyone else is forcing Gale to wear a stupid hat because he’s a wizard right? #bg3

Right now our industry is at a crisis point. It’s not just the striking actors and writers, it’s our talented technicians and world-class facilities all of which contribute so much to everyone’s entertainment and of course to the economy, which are suffering.
