Opposing a Washington Generals-level loser like Chuck Schumer for Senate leader is the easiest layup in politics. Any Democrat who doesn’t should be off the 2028 shortlist. Example: Jon Ossoff
This is the message we need to hear now from Democrats, not the tired weak statements from Schumer and Jeffries.

For 18 years, corporate media effectively banned the few of us who dared to utter this lesson about Obama turning hope and change into more of the same.
I am glad @corbintrent said it - and that it is finally allowed to be uttered in corporate media.

On CNN, David Axelrod, Kasie Hunt, and Van Jones are already talking about breaking the GOP fever and coming together, coming back to civility. Completely misreading the moment. People are mad, they want the GOP to be stopped, they don't want "a middle ground"
BEWARE THE RED MIRAGE IN MICHIGAN!!!! It will LOOK like republicans are doing great and winning the state, and then as more votes come in the democrats will surge. We know this will happen because of the order of the vote counting. Trump will try to use this to claim fraud, but save this tweet. We know in advance this will happen and it's completely normal based on the order of the vote counting

Dr. El-Sayed is a fighter for our American Constitution, he’s a fighter for our American Democracy, and he’s a fighter against the corrupt, lawless, and anti-American leadership currently in the White House. That’s why I’m in his corner 100%.

these are the ads the gop is running, but i can't say that the people who believe these narratives are like modern day klansmen?
Haley Stevens ran her entire primary campaign on the premise that as an Obama staffer she helped save the auto industry and she strongly suggested that Obama was endorsing her. Now Obama is rallying with El-Sayed and the UAW is calling out her “disgusting divide and conquer politics.”
Good!
Scoop: El-Sayed’s campaign is asking Stevens to stay away from all future campaign events in the closing days of the race, two people familiar with the decision told POLITICO,

Haley Stevens’ fiancée says he’s putting “country over party” to endorse Mike Rogers.
I joined CBS News to ask which country he’s talking about.

Jennifer Welch: We need a Dem that talks about what moderates and DSA have in common
We have to truly build a big tent, because what I'm seeing right now is Third Way spending $15 million to defeat progressives
Where is that money and ambition when it comes to defeat fascism? Oh, it's not there, because they're probably fascist collaborators.

Jennifer Welch talked about the centrists in the commentariat that are more welcoming to right-wing never Trumpers while remaining hostile to their left-flank. She calls out the fact that centrists like @jonathanchait wouldn't be able fill the front row of an auditorium:
"Jonathan Chait's assessment that Kamala pivoting to the center was working was dead wrong because I, living in Oklahoma City at the time, not actively on Twitter hardly ever, when I saw that she was doing that, I was like, 'What the fuck is she doing? They're the enemy.'
There is this bizarre insecurity with the Democratic establishment where they try to curry favor from the worst fucking, craven Republicans on the planet. It is a badge of honor that they hate us, Hasan.
You have such a huge audience and ability to reach a lot of people. Jonathan Chait couldn't fill the front row in this room. People are not going to show up and show enthusiasm because the message is boring, it's status quo and these people are clinging onto the status quo for dear life."
