Fires are smoldering in Indonesia, which is in a severe and widespread drought. Some of these are tropical peatland fires, which burn slowly, release higher amounts of air pollution, and are notoriously difficult to extinguish.

Prabowo spent over a year courting Trump, visits, phone calls, trade concessions, and joining a controversial Board of Peace with no formal leverage. Indonesia initially committed 8,000 troops, faced a $1 billion membership fee, and signed a lopsided trade deal that required amending 91 existing laws. In return? No tariff relief, no BoP influence, and no elevation of Indonesia's global stature.
By choosing appeasement over independence, Indonesia quietly shelved its bebas-aktif foreign policy tradition and missed a rare opening to shape a new middle power coalition lead among middle powers at a critical moment in global order.

Sanksi Pemberhentian Sementara di atur di Pasal 77 ayat (2) UU 23/2014 Tentang Pemda. Untuk kasus Bupati tsb dijatuhkan sanksi karena melakukan perjalanan ke luar negeri tanpa izin Menteri sebagaimana diatur di pasal 76 ayat (1) huruf i.
Umrah itu termasuk yg berhak diberikan izin sebagaimana diatur di pasal 25 ayat (1) Permendagri 59/2019, namun tidak diberikan saat daerah mengalami bencana, sebagaimana diatur pasal 26 ayat (2).
