Which club has shaped the 2026 World Cup more than any other?
I’ve mapped every player and every club they’ve played for, so you can see which clubs have the biggest impact.
Start at a confederation and drill all the way down to a single player:

Was taken off in the 72nd minute after making a total of 10 touches.
Dibling, with two minutes of injury time to go, has had 21 #EFC

You honestly think it hasn’t improved at all? I can clearly remember us in relegation scraps before moyes, as shit as some of the performances are we are not even talked about for the drop so surely in that one simple comparison that is an improvement?

I think that’s a bit harsh. “Better place” doesn’t mean every issue has been fixed in 18 months, Moyes came into a club that felt permanently one bad run away from another relegation scrap.

It's been a tough 18 months for Dwight McNeil, a fringe player under David Moyes.
But it is easy to forget the impact he had in his first two seasons.
They weren't campaigns Blues want to remember. But McNeil was at his best when Everton were at their worst, and they needed him

This is the trial of the former potential owner of Everton. To say both club and fans dodged a bullet is an understatement

It's finally a player who will sit in front of that back four and not be tempted to sprint forward every five seconds.
It's maybe not the high-potential elite-talent defensive midfielder many would hope for, but it adds experience and something we are missing.

🏆 The World Cup Round of 32 is nearly set - but who plays who?
Who do England get if we finish 1st/2nd? Who will play Spain and Portugal? Which 3rd place teams will go through?
I built a tool using Opta data to map every team's most likely opponent 👇

You can argue whether Moyes will ever take Everton to that next step, but you can’t deny he brings stability
We’re only dreaming of European nights because he got us out of mess. IMO, this club still needs a few years of prioritising stability. It’s easy to forget how BAD it was
