Friendly reminder that this is where I land politically. Still a progressive Zionist
A shame that the politicians/ figures that line up with my politics are Jew haters (except for Mandela, he’s cool)
Liel’s remains were found 45 days after the attack. While people were trying to find her (remains), there were protests in all major cities siding with her murderers! Institutions called 🇮🇱’s actions a genocide before her remains were found
Let that sink in
The Revolution sounds like the leftist version of Repeal and Replace, including “having concepts of a plan” for the rebuild/replacement part

Eisenkot, the Israeli candidate with the best shot of unseating Netanyahu, publicly condemns the recent violence of extremist settlers.
A lot of confident western leftists assured me there's no difference between the candidates on this issue.

Another incident has taken place in the West Bank.
Bernard Baudoux, a mayor in France, was visiting the West Bank, likely because his town is sister cities with Taybeh.
It appears he was attacked by radical settlers, as photojournalist Heidi Levine was yesterday.
My condemnation or even condemnations from the IDF and the government are not enough.
There needs to be consequences for these horrid actions.

Palestinians sided with the actual nazis, but they aren't nazis apparently.

A Holocaust survivor was set on fire in broad daylight, later dying of her wounds; a couple were assassinated outside a Jewish museum; scores of Jewish toddlers were almost murdered. All of these crimes were perpetrated by antizionist terrorists.
The Democratic establishment has now coalesced around a candidate for Senate who made justificatory remarks about the attempted mass-child-murder attack. This candidate has continually blamed Jews for all of America's problems from the campaign trail. The rhetoric that is being mainstreamed by Democratic party candidates & officeholders are directly inflaming lethal violence against Jews *regardless* of their views on Israel.
This isn't about Israel, it's about communal safety in the US. The people who "threw everyone under the bus" were the far-leftists who refused to vote for the Democratic nominee unless she committed to a self-destructive, unjust and idiotic foreign policy premised on popular lies about Israel/Palestine. Now you're throwing Jews under the bus to appease them.
Lose the entitlement, take off the partisan blinders, and get a grip.

It’s not about “criticizing” Israel. It’s about the obsession, the rage, the insistence that one declare the Jewish state has committed a genocide it hasn’t committed. It’s about this tiny sliver of a country thousands of miles away becoming “progressives’” litmus test.
Fr. Most Jews, especially those who lean left actually don’t want innocent civilians to die &want a 2SS, but a free 🇵🇸 shouldn’t be at the expense of Jewish/Israeli life. You can argue that many 🇺🇸 Jews are pro🇵🇸 to a certain extent. But nah, Dems wanna court Islamofascists instead

If you actually talked to Jews who have been leaving the Democrats over the current environment, you'd know they're not sitting there demanding to ethnically cleanse Gaza. Believing that's what's going on is itself revealing.

For those who are new:

🧘♀️ I've always been liberal
🧘♀️ I'm a feminist

🧘♀️ I'm a proud Jewish woman
🧘♀️ I support Israel
No, 🇮🇱’s conduct in Gaza doesn’t justify erasing Jewish/Israeli voices. You can be against the government AND include Jewish/Israeli perspectives. Those who justify blacklisting Jewish/Israeli voices are using the SAME STRATEGY conservatives use to erase POVs they dislike
Those who are against book bans and conservatives’ attempts to erase diverse stories (black/brown, LGBT) should also be against the blacklisting of Israeli/Jewish writers. It’s concerning that publishing industry is not being held accountable.

Back to footy in a sec. Zionism is the desire for Jews to have a place where they can live safely. I have no shame desiring that. One can want a 2state solution and believe the Israeli government has done and does evil things. I proudly support Aboriginal connection to ancestral land and do so for Jews as well.

Rejecting Jewish voters for mercurial voters, a good chunk of whom have illiberal views on women's rights and minority rights, is bad politics. The party has to fix this for the '28 cycle. Support for the 2SS from both sides of the fence is necessary to bring Jewish voters back.
