1984: BIG BROTHER HAS A BEAK.
People will fight tooth and nail to keep surveillance technology out of their homes.
Cameras? Absolutely not.
Microphones? Privacy invasion.
AI monitoring? Dystopian nightmare.
Then somebody puts a cute little face on it, gives it legs, and teaches it to waddle.
"OH MY GOD, LOOK AT HIM! WE'RE KEEPING HIM!"
Enter Microduck.
Basically Furby's overachieving grandson, except this little bastard has a camera, sensors, and the ability to physically explore your home.
We've spent years arguing about devices listening to our conversations.
Now we're buying devices that can follow us into the kitchen.
And here's the question nobody seems particularly interested in asking.
Who controls what those little eyes see?
Who gets the data? Where does it go? What happens when an AI companion becomes a witness to everything happening inside your home?
I'm not saying Microduck is secretly reporting you to the government.
I'm saying we've reached a point where people who wouldn't trust a smart speaker are ready to adopt a walking surveillance platform because it looks adorable.
George Orwell warned us about 1984.
Apparently, Big Brother doesn't need a telescreen anymore.
He just needs a beak and a marketable personality.
At what point did we stop questioning the cameras and start naming them?
Train in sim. Run it for real. Teach it new tricks. 🦆
This is the sim2real loop that powers Microduck.

Meanwhile, in other short news, the investigation has been suspended.
Apparently, there wasn't enough evidence to work with.

So I built this for users who Prefer Claude Code to Cursor. When analyzing my usage 70% was from cursor which I ended up rewriting 80% of it with vs code and running optimization through Claude anyway. seemed like an unnecessary token sink.

Everybody's talking about how much money @grok @bot is saving them.
Cool. Your robot saved you $400 and negotiated your internet bill. Praise be.
But I think we're overlooking something MUCH bigger.
AI is systematically destroying BARRIERS TO ENTRY.
And the implications for the RIGHT are enormous.
For decades, conservatives have complained about the LEFT's influence over Hollywood, mainstream media, publishing, gaming, and the arts.
And the response has always been the same.
"If you don't like it, go make your own."
Oh, sure. Let me just grab my spare $20 million, hire a production studio, assemble 40 developers, and call my good friend Steven Spielberg.
Problem solved.
But here's where things get interesting.
AI is doing something decades of political arguments couldn't. It's lowering the barriers to entry.
Want to make movies that reflect your values? Build games you'd actually want to play? Create cartoons, music, independent news, or an entirely new entertainment company?
The tools to start building are increasingly sitting right in front of you.
No studio approval. No publishing contract. No permission slip from the cultural establishment.
And here's the beautiful part.
AI doesn't have to be politically RIGHT to make this possible.
It just has to make creation accessible.
We're watching the economics of cultural production change in real time.
People are celebrating saving $200 a month.
I'm looking at millions of potential creators who are gaining the ability to compete in industries that once required enormous capital and institutional connections.
The biggest thing AI may give the RIGHT isn't a louder voice. It's the ability to build an alternative.
For decades, the question was, "Why won't they let us in?"
@elonmusk opened the door.
Maybe we've been asking the wrong question.
What happens when the barriers to entry collapse and nobody needs their permission anymore?

The pace of technological advancement is getting downright absurd.
We're in an acceleration phase where breakthroughs that once took years started happening in months. Then weeks. Now damn near daily.
We're not just watching technology evolve anymore. We're watching the speed of evolution accelerate.
By the time you wrap your head around what's possible, somebody's already moved the goalposts three times.
It's insane.
And I don't think most people realize just how fast the ground is moving beneath us.
@bot putting @grok in his place.
