You can feel a lie
in your body
before your mind finishes the sentence.
That uncomfortable drop.
Your spirit knows.
And it bows the other way
when someone leads with truth.
Doing the work is hard.
Living half a life is harder.
Being half of what you can be
is harder on your soul.
That is what you tax
every time you lie.
Your attention is the hottest commodity
on earth.
Everyone else already priced it.
Platforms. Ads. Noise. Drama.
The only person undervaluing it
is usually you.
Greatness sits
behind a hallway of boredom
and distraction.
Bump the walls.
Stay on the course.
Time accumulation is still the door.
Before you spend another month
of effort toward a particular end -
ask the pivotal question.
Is that your dream.
Or someone else's.
Not everything is an existential crisis.
Early on, forward movement still matters.
Eventually though -
you decide which wall
to lean the ladder against.
The climb does not change.
The ladder stays the same.
Where you get -
what you get -
is entirely different.
Better to find out
before another decade of climb.
