Sharing a demo that I always do in my lecture on diffraction by periodic structures: see the spectrum of the white LED on your smartphone. Hold the phone about 20 cm above a CD and take a picture with flash on, while aligning carefully to the CD-center. ⁦@PhotonicsUGent⁩
