I love how all the discourse here is about the ethics of the reviewer and there is no criticism of the publisher who is seeking to exploit the labour of an academic by not paying them for work they do. Totally normalised - totally insane.
What do you think of this?

"Yes, I was on the credits for the album." Sir Liam Fox tells @IainDale that he helped convince Natalie Imbruglia to release 'Torn' as a single during their 'close friendship' in the 1990s.

"I myself first read about the principles of the European Convention on Human Rights and international law in a law library in Leeds, well, 40 years ago now. And that inspired me in everything that I have done since". @Law_Leeds

Are we focusing disproportionately on the impact of our research when the impact of our teaching could be much more profound?

Does anyone have access to a pdf version of Tomkins, A. (2001) 'Introduction: On Being Sceptical About Human Rights' in Campbell, T., Ewing, K. and Tomkins, A. (eds.) Sceptical Essays on Human Rights. Oxford University Press?

PSA - if you want to copy text from a document that does not allow you to select words + copy from it, take a screenshot of it using "snipping tool" in windows.

Once text is selected, at the bottom you will see "text actions" which converts image to text. This text can then be copied and pasted elsewhere

The main opponents Conservatives need to defeat to win back seats are Labour (Con second to Lab in 219 seats) and Lib Dems (Con second to Lib Dems in 64 seats) So naturally many in the party are arguing for an all out focus on Reform (Con second to Reform in…2 seats)

The UK needs a more representative voting system. FPTP works well when there is a binary choice between parties but yields fundamentally unfair results when a multitude of parties are involved @PaoloSandro2 @TimJSayer

One last absolutely damning stat 6 million people voted either reform or Green = 8 seats 9.6 million people voted for labour = 410 seats 751,316 people voting per seat gained by reform and greens vs 23,538 people voting per seat gained by labour

Both parties will learn the wrong lessons from this election - Tories will lurch further to the right becoming less popular and more fringe - Labour will go harder on immigration to appease reform when in reality they should go softer on Palestine
