In Sven Ivar Seldinger’s original description he used “bevel up” for puncture, but recommended rotating 180 degrees to “bevel down” prior to guidewire (“leader”) insertion which appears to be done with bevel up in “B” ⬇️

The difficulty of learning PoCUS lung ultrasound is beyond the technicality. It is needed a good knowledge of medicine and especially a deep consideration of a clinical interpretation of imaging. Not easy to learn for a student and to transmit for a teacher.
