Why hasn’t Angel Reese came out and stood up for her teammate Rhyne Howard? All of Angel fans are attacking her behind game, one of the finals

The amount of people commenting and reposting this defending property taxes is astonishing. No way this many people love paying taxes!
Property taxes are a joke. The government can provide schools, roads, emergency services, etc. with the money they take from our income, sales, etc. if they weren't corrupt and foolish. I don't need to pay $3800 a year for schools I don't even use.
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

The Valkyries just gave the entire WNBA the blueprint for slowing down Angel Reese. 👀
Let her eat early, make every possession harder, then watch what happens after halftime.
These "mean girls" parading as WNBA media members are crashing out because their 4 years of character assassination on Caitlin Clark has failed woefully.
My guess is they have an idea who the new commissioner is & he/she is not on the CC hate train.
This is their last chance.

I am a big sports girly… I watch NBA, NFL, men’s college hoops, WNBA, tennis, golf, track a lil bit of everything tbh
The only time I’ve been told that I had to like a player based on their race is from WNBA fans. Only time, I’ve been accused of being a coon is from new WNBA fans.
The fact that as a black woman, it’s “implied” I have to hate Caitlin Clark & love A’ja Wilson & Angel Reese regardless of how I feel about their game; not them personally idk them but I have to love their game & teams. I can’t just respect them as players but I have to be a fan or I am a coon.
In the NBA I don’t like several black & white players & foreign ones & it’s whatever but NEW WNBA fans really believe that they can control who we all support. Y’all don’t even give all these other great players in the league their credit and attack these same players; if they don’t fall in line when playing Reese or A’ja like their not competing against each other
Does anyone understand how fucking crazy this is and NOT normal

Two things that are true.
A’ja is an amazingly good basketball player.
She is also gifted with the most special whistle in history.

Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will not be placed on injured reserve, sources confirmed to @RapSheet and me. After imaging on his dislocated left elbow was evaluated and multiple specialists were consulted, the consensus is that Daniels now will be considered week-to-week. Both Daniels and the Commanders say they are aiming for him to return as soon as possible.

We are witnessing the slow death of ownership.
Music, movies, software, cars, even printers. Everything is becoming a subscription.
You no longer buy a product. You rent permission to use it, paying month after month for something that can be taken away the moment you stop paying.
Corporations get endless revenue. Consumers get endless bills.
And somehow, we've been convinced this is progress.
"Najya deserved better."
1619 Project founder Nikole Hannah-Jones says she regrets aspects of the decision to send her daughter to predominantly Black, high-poverty public schools in Brooklyn, acknowledging she put broader ideals about educational inequality ahead of her daughter's individual needs.
Her now-16-year-old daughter told her, "Sometimes I wish instead of always thinking about other kids, you would have thought about me. I never really got the education I wanted."
Hannah-Jones says she ultimately apologized, telling her daughter, "I feel like you got cheated."

When the Player of the Game has a stat line of 10-4-3 you know the team played like shit.

Please, WNBA, make your ecosystem of national broadcasters actual sports reporters, rather than former players & current owners! it is insufferable listening to people with an agenda on every freakin' network! Fire the insiders & hire real reporters like a sport!

The WNBA needs outsiders so bad. Having owners (Montgomery) & players as “analysts” is awful. Don’t let a former player anywhere near commissioner, either. Need outside input, scrutiny & management so bad. 🙏

Joe Pesci’s character in Goodfellaswas based on real-life mobster Tommy DeSimone. DeSimone was later killed on the orders of John Gotti. Edward McDonald, the federal prosecutor who helped turn Henry Hill into a government informant — and later played himself in Goodfellas— recalls the real Tommy DeSimone and explains why Gotti wanted him dead:
“He was killed. John Gotti had him killed because he had killed Billy Batts, who was a Gambino soldier, and also a guy by the name of Foxy Jerothe, who was a good friend of Gotti’s. So Gotti had gone to the Lucchese family and said:
“Look, I know you’re going to make this guy Tommy DeSimone, but the Gambino family cannot tolerate this because he’s responsible for killing, without permission, a Gambino family soldier, and also a guy who was probably going to become a Gambino soldier, Foxy Jerothe.”
And so the Lucchese family had no choice but to kill Tommy. And so Tommy was killed early on. People suspected for a week or so that Jimmy was responsible for killing Tommy because of his complicity in the Lufthansa robbery. But it wasn’t at all. I mean, that was confirmed by Henry when he cooperated….
But he was a madman. He was really a violent, violent madman. We had stories about him and about Jimmy killing people. It was just insane, the things that they would do. And so it wasn’t overstated.
I saw pictures of Tommy DeSimone, and he was a particularly handsome guy, big. He was probably over six-foot-two. And they called him Two Guns sometimes - because he carried two guns, but because his arms were like guns. He was a weightlifter. He was in great shape.
And when I heard that Joe Pesci, who I knew from some of his other movies where he played accountant types and sort of almost comic characters, I said, “This guy’s totally miscast. I mean, how could you have this guy playing Tommy DeSimone?”
Till five minutes into it, I said:
“Oh my God. They got the perfect guy. This guy’s incredible.”
Edward McDonald’s quote comes from Part 5 of his interview with DJ Vlad.
