On October 10, 2022, ECAQA received an official letter signed by the President of the World Federation for Medical Education (#WFME) Professor David Gordon awarding ECAQA the WFME Recognition Status for 10 years until October 31, 2032.

June 22, 2022, the Board of ENQA decided to grant ECAQA full membership of ENQA for five years.
