@TheRAC_UK #CANCELLED our pick up at 13.30. The local subcontractor wasn’t ready to take us home and @TheRAC_UK cancelled it in favour of an in house team. Who are 4 hours away and will only be able to take us halfway home.
We are now expected to wait ‘a couple of hours’ to be recovered by someone and taken to a local ‘depot’. We have been assured that @TheRAC_UK will then arrange a hire car - out of hours for us to drive home in.
What on earth is going on? Why can’t anyone at @TheRAC_UK explain /help is understand the complications of their system that keeps us on an endless loop of ‘a couple of hours’. Twice. Out of only three times we have ever needed them. @BarclaysUK they’re crap.

You @TheRAC_UK turned down his company’s offer to recover the car in favour of your own man. Who is currently in LUTON!!! Currently expecting to be collected between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
Extraordinarily poor @TheRAC_UK #RecoverySupport service for scooters and motorcycles in London! How long is reasonable? 3-4hours? How about over 6 and a half (not since calling you - oh no - from when recovery was booked by your mechanic. #terribleservice
My husband called me at 10.30am to say he had broken down. He’s a good mechanic but 90 mins later (12pm) he had to ring @TheRAC_UK. He told them them he needed #RecoverySupport A man with a van came about 90 mins later (1.30pm) and told him he needed #RecoverySupport.
