Yesterday, we went to Rockland County with an incredible group of volunteers to knock on doors and help elect @CaitforNewYork to Congress!
NY’s 17th Congressional District is one of the most competitive races in the country, and flipping this seat could help determine control
of the U.S. House of Representatives.
We spent the day talking with voters, making connections, and working to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
Thank you to @votebluenyc and everyone who got on the bus, gave up their Saturday, and showed up to make a difference.
It was great to spend time with neighbors at the West 79th Street Block Association’s Coffee at the Curb this morning!
Events like these are what make the Upper West Side such a special place to live. They bring neighbors together, strengthen community connections, and give us an opportunity to catch up and talk about the issues that matter most to our neighborhood.
I was deeply honored to receive the Mental Health Champion Award at the NAMI-NYC Gala.
I believe that in our lifetime, we can achieve breakthroughs in mental health treatment every bit as extraordinary as the advances we’ve made in other areas of medicine.
Thank you to NAMI-NYC, Council Member @CMLindaLee for the amazing introduction, and the entire NAMI-NYC family for this tremendous honor and for everything you do.

Even though I hate shots, I got my flu vaccine alongside @ebottcher! 💉 If you missed our flu shot clinic, it’s not too late. Getting vaccinated against the flu and COVID helps protect you and our community this season.

I joined animal welfare advocates and fellow elected officials on the steps of City Hall to celebrate a historic breakthrough in the fight to end New York City’s horse-drawn carriage practice.
I want to congratulate Speaker Julie Menin and bill sponsor @CMChrisMarte for their leadership and determination, along with @nyclass @peta and the countless advocates who have fought tirelessly for this moment.
