I think not debating for every Texas Republican is a mistake. When you're face first into the head winds and desperately need to shake up the feeling and the atmosphere (which they do) you should be chomping at the bit to debate.

I cannot even imagine how her family feels learning that not only was she drugged with fentanyl, but the rapist sent half nudes photos & waited 45 minutes to call for help.

My God. Moises Freire had sex with a woman & realized she was unconscious afterward. She took fentanyl he brought. Freire saw her friend unconscious on the floor & didn't seek help, instead waiting about 45 minutes while he sent photos of the unconscious women to others.

Gahdammit! This MFer has heat for Black people but one is saving his career and giving him exposure because if it wasn't for Samuel L. Jackson I wouldn't watch. I hate this shit.
BREAKING: After being largely sidelined by Hollywood following his public endorsement of President Trump in 2016, the Happy Days star, Scott Baio, has joined the cast of Paramount+’s new Taylor Sheridan series Frisco King. The show is a spin-off of Tulsa King and stars Samuel L. Jackson. Sylvester Stallone is also involved in the project through the shared universe and as an executive producer. Baio recently teased the news himself, posting about Frisco King and tagging Sheridan and Jackson. Congratulations to Scott Baio on the return. (via @DavidJHarrisJr)

Thank you to everyone who stood with me over the years. It’s been a scary journey but I have always been grounded in my work and ability to provide exemplary service to my constituents. Trump and his administration have been after me since I arrived in Congress. I have always stood up to him and that will never change. The pedophile protector will never silence me.
BREAKING WaPo: Trump officials scrutinized Rep. Ilhan Omar in 2019. They didn't find citizenship issues.
The earlier review of Omar's immigration records looked at many of the same issues being investigated now. washingtonpost.com/national-…

This is just the kind of thing the Stand Your Ground law was designed for. Unfortunately, it's been used as an excuse for White people to get away with murdering Black people. It's heartening to see it used to exonerate a Black person. This was definitely the right decision.

James Talarico's closing statement: You may have noticed that I haven't talked about my opponent at all tonight, because I don't want people to vote just against Ken Paxton. I want them to vote for me. I want them to know my values and my vision. But we are running against the most corrupt politician in Texas. Since taking office, Paxton has increased his net worth by $27 million. He now owns 15 homes. We have an opportunity to defeat him and this entire corrupt system.

This story of a girl raped at a U Chicago frat is terrifying. They caught the guy mid rape and the victim's friend chased the rapist who ran away from the crime scene. The rapist's friends filmed her chasing him and mocked her. That video will be evidence in their friend's trial for rape. Check out the whole thread for the story and video.
Another rape at a U Chicago frat! Mia Lara is a hero!!! The frat bros who cheered this on should be identified and expelled! "The trio danced in the basement. Ms. Lara’s friend and a man began kissing and Ms. Lara lost track of them. She searched the house, eventually finding a small group of men cheering outside a locked bathroom door in the basement, she said. “They were saying things like, ‘When’s it my turn?’ and, ‘I want to go in there,” Ms. Lara said. Ms. Lara jimmied the lock and forced her way inside. She found her friend sitting on the floor, slumped against the wall with her clothes and undergarments pulled down. The man whom her friend had been kissing had his hands on her wrists, Ms. Lara said. Her friend began saying, “Make it stop” and “Get me out of here,” Ms. Lara said. Ms. Lara began screaming and the man left. She and her friend carried the woman out of the bathroom. Outside the fraternity house, Ms. Lara chased the man, a scene captured in a social media video. In the clip, Ms. Lara yells at the man, accusing him of assaulting her friend. “She wanted to,” the man replies. Ms. Lara swats the man with her hands, and he runs. Ms. Lara said the man got away and she was intercepted by a campus police officer. The officer drove the three friends to the University of Chicago hospital, she said, where the police took a report and her friend underwent a rape exam."

Police sexually assault Black middle school girl—call it a "full body search." "They proceeded to intrusively touch in between her breasts," mom said. "Under her breasts and down between her hips." All over a rumored cell phone. "I felt violated," the 14 year old girl said. "But didn't even understand that you’ve been violated because you seeing everybody get violated, too." Shanayah Mosley said her daughter—along with all other students—already pass through a metal detector on the way into school. "There was no just cause for a search in the first place," she said. The student resource officer has been reassigned to regular patrol duty pending an investigation. Incident occurred at Bessemer City Middle School in Bessemer, Alabama Alabama’s Focus Act passed last year does make it against state law for students to use a cell phone at school.
