If you heard my interview, you heard about my child on ventilation in NICU. This is personal for me. Vaccination reduces chance of preemie birth by half. 16.6% to 8.6% (7.9% is normal). Also ⬇️ stillbirth +neonatal death. Prevent this if you can because it’s heartbreaking.

Had a little scare last night with my daughter waking up unable to breathe properly. The @HPS_Paramedics who responded were AMAZING with her. (I wish I remembered their names but I was in full mama bear blur) Aria drew then a pic because she was so grateful! #FirstResponders

Best advice for #LPCLeadership hopefuls: if the people advising you are all of similar age/stage/income bracket & mindset, think about that. The Liberals will need to do work to win hearts & minds of different types of voters in relative short order. Ask yourself, can I do that?

I had to opportunity to attend the @ChildHealthCan conference in Newfoundland. I share my thoughts here on what I heard the experts and clinicians say about healthcare for kids in Canada. @EGruenwoldt #childrenshealth #healthcare

Just saying, there is a town in Wales named Welshpool, sounds like a great place for an origin story. Love this so much! welshpool.com @VancityReynolds @PMullin7 @Wrexham_AFC 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇨🇦

Going over old photos of my beautiful mother who passed away yesterday. Can’t get over how gorgeous she was and how epic this 90s hair was. She was classy and smart and driven and fierce. Grateful to be her daughter.

Today was a beautiful day. The power of the sun and the moon coming together. Sometimes, it feels great to inhale, exhale and take in the beauty.

I hope that many of you will sign to help raise awareness, spark a discussion and trigger the financial support needed for many Canadians to realize their dream of parenthood. 4/4 ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/P… Cc @FertilityMattrs

Some provinces offer insufficient or zero coverage for fertility care, resulting in disparities and inequities across Canada. As someone who has experienced fertility struggles, I proudly support this petition. 3/4

The substantial financial burden of fertility care, ranging from approximately $10,000 to $20,000 per cycle, persists as a formidable barrier, especially knowing that more than one cycle is often required to have one baby. 2/4

Tough day for us with Aria feeling sick with a fever of 4 days and worsening cough. Hard for me balancing work/school and parenting responsibilities. We’re all very tired :( Grateful for the staff @mch_childrens @HamHealthSci
