“We need to find common ground with the Left” Let me tell you how this is going to go. Conservatives will offer the Left economic concessions and then ask their “fellow liberals” what they’re willing to offer in return. Abolishing Birthright Citizenship? Repealing Hart-Celler? Ending “Disparate Impact”? Stoping discrimination against White men in hiring and college admissions? How about you just drop the trans stuff? That’s a good first start. And in response to these reasonable concessions, the Left we are supposed to be “uniting” with will declare us Fascist bigots who must be destroyed, because these things ARE what the Left IS at this point. Replacement migration, open borders, anti-White discrimination, pro-women/minority nepotism, and trans ideology are each theological commitments on the Left. There’s no “compromise” to be had here on these things in their eyes. You will either submit or you will be destroyed. Their ideology doesn’t work without treating me as the perpetual villain. Trying to escape that label in their eyes requires endless humiliation rituals that I refuse to participate in. I’d rather be their eternal enemy than lie to myself that I could ever be their friend.
