Alleged Illegal Alien Ilhan Omar Tells Trump's Allies to "Lawyer Up"
Ilhan Omar won reelection in Minnesota's 5th District last night and gave her victory speech with an "ABOLISH ICE" sign right behind her.
She told the crowd Democrats would "make our trifecta work for us in creating progress."
Then she passed along a message from Rep. Robert Garcia of California, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, whom she called "the soon-to-be chairman." Asked what he had to say to Trump and his allies, Garcia's answer was "you better lawyer up."
The crowd cheered.
"Because your time of harassment is over, it is our time for accountability and transparency," Omar said.
She went further. "And if you thought that the Democrats took it easy on you in 2019, wait until you meet these kind of new Democrats."
In 2019, House Democrats ran the subpoenas and investigations that ended with Trump's first impeachment. Omar has held this seat since that same year.
Remember that @PamBondi nor @AGToddBlanche are willing to go nuclear on Democrats, but as we are seeing post-election, Democrats won't hesitate to go after Republicans. Buckle up, this is going to be one hell of a ride.
