Date and location: Friday, October 2nd, 4-6pm, The Landing Youth Centre, 1648 East 1st Avenue. My colleagues and I attended a similar event last year and found it incredibly informative. We learned about situational awareness, de-escalation, self-protection, and so much more. The physical component was very interactive and many participants left the event feeling more confident in their ability to handle difficult situations. Highly recommend.
